A basic commercial education is the ideal start to a career and the springboard for a successful professional career. No other occupational field offers such diverse and attractive further training and career opportunities as the commercial field.
Since fall 2014, it has been possible to complete a three-year apprenticeship as a marketing & communication clerk (specializing in promotional products). The training is accompanied by PromoSwiss (apprentice excursions, seat on the training committee, regular exchange with basic training and the canton) and also financially supported.
The specialization in the still young commercial sector of communication is intended to optimally prepare apprentices for their professional career. In addition to the work in the training company, inter-company courses impart the relevant specialist knowledge. These include courses in marketing, communication, material knowledge, finishing, transport & forwarding and import/export & law.
The promotional products distributors represented in the industry association offer trial apprenticeships to all interested parties.

The PromoSwiss industry association was founded in 1983 to strengthen the promotional products industry in Switzerland. The association now comprises 65 member companies, including 29 Swiss trading companies.
